Not a lie. Truth. You just didn't think of it. I am an expert in these things so I see things most people don't. About the shaping of national consciousness by media events. Movies can be profound media events when 40 million people see them. If 40 million people see FARENHEIT 9-11 then Bush is toast. Dukakis was up 15% at the beginning of the summer then lost big. FORREST GUMP was just one of many reasons but it mattered.
