Ben,

I have a little QRACX (commodity) and BEARX. I believe we have a long time to accumulate commodity funds and am waiting for a good sell off in commodities to add to the position. I am going to jump with more BEARX if we start to see "real" cracks in the market.

The only food stock I own is ADM. I think the stock is expensive at the moment and expect it to get sold off with a market sell off. I will buy some more all things being equal around $10 per share and/or less. With some bad news the stock could go to $8 as the company will be buying back their stock at that price. The last time it got in the $8 level the company bought the stock and sent it back to the stockholders as a tax free distribution. The food stocks I have looked at have "way" to much debt for me to invest in the companies. I am risk averse with companies holding to much debt. The boys at ADM are shutting down the plants here in the states and expanding in Brazil and China. (low cost producing countries). Some folks think they are a bunch of crooks working the government hard to keep subsidies as well as gasoline additives which favors their business. This is true but so has the rest of corporate America. <g>

I am still holding the FAX, FCO, and GIM from 2000 and 2001 purchases and am adding to FCO on gut wrenching sell off's. Have a little ICPHX and will add if the US dollar runs to the moon.
