Many are those who say that he should have leaped from his stool, adopted a Russell Crowe stance, and gone to work. I could even wish that myself

Well duh, don't we all?

imo when the sh*t hits the fan, there are 2 types of people. Most people will look around like "Gee whiz? Whadda we do?" They are looking for a leader, which is the other type of person. It does not have to be the smartest or most capable person by any means. It just has to be someone who jars people into action and shakes them out of the initial "gee whiz" shock. Thankfully, the "leader" of the "free" world was within 7 minutes of a real leader, whoever he or she might be.

Hitchens writes very dishonestly. Notice he starts by dismissing the "American left" completely, while it was Hitchens who was the one on TV non-stop in 2002 insisting to us that Saddam was the #1 biggest threat on the planet who had to be taken out now due to all his mountains of weaponized WMD's. Hitchens is a proven liar. Now he has the nerve to call Moore names?
