Cheney lied to us in 2000 telling us the phony energy crisis was market-driven, conservation doesn't work, that there was a permanent shortage of energy and that we needed 1300 new power plants in the US, financed by tax-payers, to be built by Halliburton, Bectel and Duke, his three top cronies. Cheney might as well be a lobbyist for polluters and war contractors. It's definitely his first love. He's a totally corrupt guy who lies without any sense of conscience.
