It's true the media climate in Kennedy's day was very different. "Everybody" knew, but everybody was discreet. The Kennedy machine knew the importance of discretion, too, and worked to keep all that under wraps. Clinton wasn't much more discreet than Gary Hart, who invited the press to follow him around and so gave them a ringside seat to his "monkey business" with Donna Rice. On a personal level, Clinton and Lewinsky are equally responsible: she flashed her thong underwear, he took her up on the offer. I have contempt for Clinton, however, because of his contempt for the office of the President.

You'll learn about Bill's fantasy childhood. Not interested in it myself.

Will know better about that when I read his book.
