That's what I would have done.

But where would he go ? Would they all pile into a limo and talk ? The teachers' lounge maybe ?

An empty classroom -- those desks are sooooo tiny, lol !

They probably decided that it would take a few minutes to rearrange everything and get hold of everyone so they decided in the meantime he should keep reading to the kids.

Do you have kids ? On 9/11/2001, mine were 11 and 15. The teachers all turned on the TV sets and all the kids were totally freaked out !

If you're the President, how do you just get up and walk out on a bunch of 8 year olds ?

The 5 minutes he stayed with them amounted to nothing. For Moore and the 9/11 conspiracy believers to make a big deal over this is a waste of time.
