Well, they're more or less right. We've been making a mess of Iraq. We've been re-installing some elements of Saddam's repression apparatus, we were caught red-handed abusing prisoners, we haven't won the hearts and minds of the people. We've killed over 10,000 civillians. Iraq could degenerate into civil war. It certainly has that potential. The country might wind up getting carved up by surrounding countries. I hope it all works out in the end, but it seems like our plans have gone awry.
