It probably depends at what you look at. I look at Clinton, and see the Clinton years, which were very good for me and my family. I see the rhetoric, which I found less divisive and more soothing than the rhetoric now. I think about environmental issues and thing, yeah, I was a little disappointed, but nowhere near as disappointed as I am now. I am sorry Clinton screwed up sexually, and that's a negative for me, but tremendously outweighed by other factors. But that's just the way I look at my ice cream.

I have seen a lot about Heston. I don't think he was ever too many lefties flavor of the month. He was never loved the way a man like Stewart was. He was always pretty pissy, really, in interviews. I don't know how many times you've seen him- his views on Spartacus are hillarious- ever seen the Celluloid Closet? Has the deleted scene from Spartacus. It's worth renting the movie just for that.

I know you believe he was respected and loved by all, but he wasn't. There is actually some history on that if you want to find it. I know gays particularly disliked him, and it wasn't for nothing that he was set up in Spartacus without his knowledge.

I'd venture to say, before Heston became the President of the NRA, he was a lot of Lefties flavor of ice cream.

I think you've ventured off the edge of a cliff, RoadRunner.
