Ah, no wonder we have a disconnect. You are thinking of the interview with Heston and in all my previous posts I was talking about Heston and the NRA Rally quotes that Moore cut and pasted together and offered as truth.

Moore misrepresented himself to Heston and led him along. Further he misquoted Heston back to Heston in such a manner that Heston had to back track which made him look like he was constantly retracting what he said. It was brilliant of Moore to do, just dishonest.

Then the grandstanding with asking Heston if he should apologize for the girls murder, well that was over the top and classless.

Now, keep in mind I am reading reviews from both sides of the aisle. I haven't seen this flick and it sounds like most people should not bother to see it. I have read more about this BFC flick than I care to, and it is all to argue with you about Moore being a liar. It has been enlightening, but a waste of my time. You will not change your opinion and I will not either.

Instant dislike the first time I saw Moore. His movies won't change that opinion. Sensationalist, opportunist, deceiver. No one I want to research further.
