Yeah, LBJ sure delivered on his war on poverty, 5 TRILLON dollars and forty years later, we now have more poor people and more people on Welfare. But we all know it wasn't about helping humans, it was about 'delivering' votes for the Democrats. As LBJ said afterwards,'That should lock up the black vote for two hundred years"

I liked Gerald Ford, always thought he was one of the most decent men to have served as President. Strange that one of the most athletic presidents ever got the reputation for being physically clumsy. Once a president has been made to appear the fool, he has very little chance of getting re-elected.
