I just looked at the schedule; it looks like, if we meet, it will be 'long 'bout the middle of Oct. Oh. I figured since we played LA and SD during this interleague play that we were scheduled to play the rest of the NL West. Too bad. Tonight was the final game of the little league season. It was a lot of fun but I think we are all glad it is over. We took the team out afterward for ice cream cones. Now we have a month off before football season begins. Hopefully we'll get some more camping in now. For this weekend we decided we'll head out to Long Island and go camping at a wooded state park along the north shore. (Originally we were just supposed to go to LI for a BBQ. My youngest brother lives out that way and the traffic usually sucks bad, so I suggested to wifie that we pack the gear and camp out and turn it into a fun weekend instead of trying to do all the driving in one day.
