Any vet who votes for Bush is either a diehard Republican or hasn't noticed Bush is cutting VA benefits while Kerry has been fighting for vets ever since day one of his career.

Many anti-Kerry vets believe in the myth that there are still MIA's and POW's in Vietnam and that Kerry and McCain lied about this when they recommended normalized relations. These dingbats are about on the same level as those who hang around Rosswell NM watching for flying saucers. Vietnam would have no reason to be hanging onto any POW's after all these decades. Worse yet, some like Ted Sampley make a living out of bilking MIA wives out of their pensions. Just fraud artists like so many on Bush's side.

Bushie vets also choose to ignore the fact that awolbush.com is not some partisan spin. Bush really did shirk his duty and lie about it. Cheney, Delay, Limbaugh and the rest were also deliberate draft-dodgers. Delay even stated that there were plenty of minority guys to take his place. But Bushie vets don't care. They attack war heros Kerry, Cleland and McCain with venom and call them traitors. They lie about having served with Kerry. They pretend th faked his three Purple Hearts and wasn't a real hero even a lifelong Republican ex Green Beret plainly says he owes his life to John.

Shame on those rightwing vets who put ideological extremism before basic patriotic decency and respect.
