Jay, This is all so complicated you are breaking my head... NOT certain that if the dollar were to resume its fall that that would automatically translate into e.g. a rising stock market. as in as a corollary one reason Americans buy up RT units is/was because of a rising Loonie... BTW we are still in that equilibrium USD/Loonie eh! Election on June 28... Let's see :o) Maybe reflation can work... Maybe Bernake really can drop dollars from helicopters and no one needs to be enticed to borrow just spend... but then again that scenario always reminds me of the WKRP episode where they were giving away turkeys at Thanksgiving .... by helicopter drop .. the reporter (Les) yells oh the humanity as the turkeys splat on the ground and the perpetrator decries ... I swear... I thought turkeys could fly :o) Spots.
