That's a lie. The guy is either duped or dishonest. If you read Kerry's testimony it has some colorful language in it (hardly politically correct) but he's clearly there fighting FOR the soldiers to SAVE the soldiers and not attack them. He lays the blame squarely at the feet of the adninistration and its top brass. After al his unit too killed some innocent people.

Also, unless you have your head deeply in the sand you know everything Kerry said then is true times 100. I njust watched Robert McNamara's film "The Fog Of War" and it becomes abundantly clear that once Johnson and Nixon committed ourselves to "win" or "punish" the North Vietnamese, the orders were to kill and destroy anything that moved. We used Agent Orange which killed everything it touched. We used napalm, a terrible way to die.

The CIA also ran the Phenoix Program which effectively assassinated thousands of people, including using the same methods Al Qaida uses now, beheadings. The only difference was they didn't videotape it. Don't blame the messenger. The war itself was wrong, not Kerry.

Kerry was a true hero both in war and right after. He killed 20+ enemy, saved lives and took three wounds, then came back to tell the truth and save his brothers. Only those on the extreme right who wanted the war to continue refuse to understand.
