Feynamn said he considered the Nobel basically a burden because suddenly he was qualified to serve on all sorts of committees and commissions he would never have been considered for before.

Like the Challenger investigation maybe? :-) He did himself proud there. Poked into places NASA really didn't want him too and came up with the answer. Without him, they'd probably still try to launch that rickety beast in freezing weather.
