I think the author is wrong on one thing- this " I believe they secretly welcome the opportunity to go toe-to-toe with someone who plays as rough-and-tumble as they do" is false. I think they secretly (and not so secretly) would like to have the podium all to themselves- hence the pressure on movie theatres not to show the Moore film (backfired, of course, but still, the effort was made.) Aside from that error, it's a good article, thanks for posting it.
