Hi martin,

The best way I have found for cash is to manage my own money market fund (in US dollars) and buy short term treasuries and CD's. Right now have mine laddered out over a year. I like to have some maturing each month but one could have them mature each quarter depending on needs. I recently rolled a matured CD to a CD maturing June of 2005 for 2.05%. Last month the bank at Merrill Lynch Bank paid .2% and the bank at SmithBarney paid .4%. <g>

It should not be a problem with the FDIC 100K insurance as your broker will have CD's from many difference FDIC insured institutions.

I own USU. I was watching CCJ but never bought - darn. <g>
