What I find so sad, is people PURPORTING to be good American Citizens, and our media PURPORTING to report the truth, are slanting EVERYTHING against America supposedly with the purpose of creating a feeling that President BUSH is unfit to be President. In their zeal to follow this quest they care LITTLE the damage they are doing to America here and abroad, the danger they are putting this country in here and abroad. DAY AFTER DAY we have to read about prisoner abuses in Iraq and Afghanistan, yet only a SMATHERING of now 4 persons being beheaded by the enemy. The fallout of all this is now and in the future our good troops will be unable to perform their total function of protecting America. This isnt something that will go away after the elections, this will effect our troops performance for many years, in that time we will likely suffer many needless casualties here and abroad because these supposedly good Americans will have destroyed our ability to adequately interrogate prisoners to learn information necessary to save lives both of Americans, Iraqi's and Afghanis. this just disgusts me to no end. jdn

Stay quiet and you’ll be OK. Don’t mention that a Saudi imam who spoke at the opening of a large new Islamic center in London once preached a sermon in which he called Jews “evil offspring, infidels, distorters of [others’] words, calf-worshippers, prophet-murderers, prophecy-deniers... the scum of the human race ‘whom Allah cursed and turned into apes and pigs,” and “an ongoing continuum of deceit, obstinacy, licentiousness, evil, and corruption.” AP noted that in London he said that Islam’s history was “the best testament to how different communities can live together in peace and harmony.” The BBC called him “one of Islam’s most renowned Imams” and reported his praise for British Muslims for having “taken great steps towards achieving community cohesion.” Neither said anything about his hate speech. Hmmmmmmmmmm...........and when our over the top clergy like Mr. Falwell spouts his hate and BS, I bet you stay real quiet, don't you? He's one of your bros, isn't he? And what about the TX dudes who dragged a black man behind their truck until he got dismembered? I bet you stayed quiet on that one too. And how about the fukkups in Wyoming who crucified a guy because he was gay? I bet you went silent on that one as well. However I do not plan to sit by and stay quiet while you all try to get the entire world to hate this country. And that includes the Muslim world as well. I am sick of the way Islam is getting trashed by this campaign of hate from the American right. In the last year, I have met a number of Muslims........they are just like us......hard working, worried about the future, trying to do the right thing. Just as I don't want the world to think all Americans are like Jerry Falwell or Richard Hinkle or Harvey Oswald or John Boothe or all the other butthole Americans in this world, they don't want to be judged by the extremists in their culture as well. Any yet you all crank out your liturgy of hate. Its disgusting and counterproductive. And let me remind you, a litany of hate is never good for someone recovering from major surgery. Shame on you! Jerry Falwell apologized last night for saying that last week's terrorist attacks reflected God's judgment on a nation spiritually weakened by the American Civil Liberties Union, providers of abortion, supporters of gay rights and federal court rulings on school prayer. rickross.com
