The news could not be better out of the U.S. for QCOM, Sprint, Verizon, accelerating their EV-DO deployments, Cingular moving quickly on W-CDMA (UMTS), simply outstanding!

China is the big question mark I think that might hold Qualcomm back until the China question is resolved and that may take some more time. But fundamentally, outside of EBay (see discussion on NPI Fool Board where Tom Headrick was ahead of most the rest of us calling EBAY a Gorilla and not a Godzilla and he was absolutely and utterly correct, 4 bags ago) I don't see a more fundamentally sound technology company in the world at present than QCOM. Hitting on all 16 cylinders (QCOM can't be a mere 8 cylinder, can it?).

Okay, the China cyclinder still has some uncertainty around it.
