Zogby says Bush has taken the lead in Florida, Michigan, Nevada and West Virginia and Kerry has gained the lead in Arkansas. Bush would win 285 electoral votes and Kerry would win 253.

THE NEW PEARL HARBOR By David Ray Griffin

A sobering dose of reality, a Must Read by anyone who values our democracy, has wondered why there were so many staggeringly erratic reactions & non-reactions by the US network of security/defense persons and systems on September 11, 2001 –Or if you are truly concerned about American foreign policy under the present administration.

Griffin, a teacher of ethics and theology for thirty years, compiles the best from numerous other writers and sources that lay out the essential unanswered questions regarding the ‘Official’ accounts about events on September 11, 2001. Much of what he documents I had read previously but he pulls it all together in a very straightforward, important and comprehensive way. In reading this book, all Americans with at least half their brain still open to WHY & HOW, may begin to understand, or at least question for themselves, a broader picture laced with intricate secret places...

Excerpt’s from Richard Falk’s Foreword of Griffin’s book:

"What makes The New Pearl Harbor so special is that it explores the most sensitive and controversial terrain—the broad landscape of the official behavior in relation to the tragedy of 9/11—in the best spirit of academic detachment, coupled with an exemplary display of the strongest scholarly virtue: a willingness to allow inquiry to follow the path of evidence and reason wherever it leads."
..."Griffin brilliantly makes an overwhelming argument for a comprehensive, unhampered, fully funded, and suitably prominent investigation of the entire story of how and why 9/11 happened, as well as why such an unprecedented breakdown of national security was not fully and immediately investigated as a matter of the most urgent national priority. There are so many gaping holes in the official accounts of 9/11 that no plausible coherent narrative remains, and until now we have been staggering forward as if the truth about these traumatic events no longer mattered"

"...Why should the official account of 9/11 be treated as sacrosanct and accepted at face value, especially as it is the rationale for some of the most dangerous undertakings in the whole history of the world?...this country and the world deserve a comprehensive, credible, and immediate accounting of the how and why of that fateful day"
