Following the Corr-----just learned a lesson from Ameritrade. Even though I transferred cash via eft to account I cannot buy for 5 days a non-marginable bulletin board stock(even though I am not on margin). However, with eft I can buy stocks on the NYSE that are marginable even though I am not on margin. In other words, what I understand is that everything is margin with the brokage firm even though I am not on margin personally. Now if I had wired funds to account that would be different as the wire is considered immediate availability. Just a note. mj
