Beleif can make anything out of anything. Not everyone looked at the passion that way. When you have folks who will sell all their possessions and go out to a hill and wait to be picked up by aliens, or kill themselves and hope to be picked up by Aliens, believing in the Passion seems a kind of harmless folly. People seem to be capable of believing almost anything- not all people, but people in general. You are obviously not one of those hillwaitingalienbelievingpassionworshipping types.
