I'll bet that when analysts say 'Storage is a commodity' they are referring to disk drives. They are commodities. But storage systems (or even QLGC's HBA/semi business) are cleary not commodities. And I agree there doesn't seem to be much to get excited about in software these days, other than security. When the big guys like Oracle just want to consolidate the industry rather than develop new stuff, that's a sign something has slowed. That's why I like internet advertising (VCLK) and camera phones (OVTI). Those are growth areas, regardless of the number of jobs created last month....:-) Elroy
