Its 14 years by my count.

I'm surprised. I thought you knew how to count.

Try again. Count the years between these two things (now is 2004)

"In 2000, Kerry Voted In Favor Of Permanent Normal Trade Relations With China. (H.R. 4444, CQ Vote #251: Passed 83-15: R 46-8; D 37-7, 9/19/00, Kerry Voted Yea)

Now Kerry Criticizes The Bush Administration For Trading With China..."

Hint, if counting is too hard try subtraction. 2004-2000=X

How do you know that he didn't......do you think your source would have reported that info if it did happen?

If anyone can point to any quote from Kerry with such an apology or admission of a mistake I will conceed that part of the argument.

The flip-flops are not learning when you make a mistake. Sending out an anti Gulf War letter and then sending out a pro-war letter nine days later is shifting with the political winds not a serious recognition of error.
