russ: I agree on RNO fundamentals, but the bad chart waved me off it for the last few months. The only way I could make sense of the price action in the face of the onset of mine production at Aguablanca is that the market expects sharply reduced demand, which would have to mean a hard landing in China. This supposition is consistent with the market giving the same short shrift to the seemingly positive fundamentals for NTO, NXG, and other current or very near-term producers. I think the hard economic pullback that would be needed to reduce nickel and copper demand enough to hurt those juniors' profits isn't going to happen this year, at least. I'm eyeing them but not ready yet; still playing mostly E&P and tech.
