The guy is already a multi-millionare, after two successful movies and books. This will be his big score. The media hype for this small-release movie/documentary is extrodinary. It's all over the news this week. The movie could gross well north of $20 Million, whicn would be astounding for this sort of film. Which brings me to my main complaint about Michael Moore. I'm afraid Michael Moore has been living the life of a hypocrite. It's great that he critiques and criticizes the opulent American lifestyle that has had many negative downsides for those not enjoying in the prosperity. But, I find it rather hypocritical for Michael Moore to be enjoying that same lifestyle, living in a posh apartment on Manhattan's Upper East Side and sending his child to private school, while criticizing others for living in a similiar manner. If Michael Moore is true to his convictions, he'd forgoe the posh Upper East Side lifestyle, give most of his money to charity, live in a more down to earth middle class neighborhood, and actually work for social justice (perhaps counsel troubled youths or feed the homeless). Someone should do a documentary on Michael Moore's posh lifestyle. That would be rather amusing. I like Michael Moore. He definitely has a talent when it comes to filmmaking, and I think we need a muckraker like Michael Moore. But, he could certainly do a better job upholding the values that he proclaims to believe in. Who the hell is he to criticize others for living a posh lifestyle, well apparently out of convience he's living quite a comfortable life in NYC?
