I was saying that before the war. I continue to say it now. I predicted a honeymoon period, I predicted violent but ineffective resistance, and I predicted that the real trouble would begin when contention for positions of power began. I actually went back a few months ago, collected a bunch of stuff I wrote before the war, and reposted it, so people could assess the predictions. Have you seen anyone else doing that? In the process of finding that stuff, I came across some real howlers by regular posters here, but resisted the temptation to embarrass. My goalposts remain firmly in place. I take no responsibility for anyone else's.
