Thats what a war is. You kill the people who are trying to kill you. You don't deliberately target women and children though as the terrorists do. The reason that al qaeda can't fight a conventional war is that nobody agrees with them. They are a minority even among their own people. But I can see they have some allies here at the cfz. America's been meddling in their affairs for a very long time - for the oil, for the sake of Israel, etc. Maybe it is their idea that they should "keep killing them [Americans] until they get the message". Maybe we've made some policy mistakes in the past but we have to try to do whats right today and we have to defend ourselves. Now that we know they are trying to kill us we are going to kill them. That's war thats how it works.
