No, he didn't infer that in the post you keep dragging him kicking and screaming back to support. He did, however, try to take you there in subsequent posts.

I simply accepted and supported the obvious validity of your destruction of the "just the same" Neo post, and then took one step into the "kitchen sink." I did so because we are now at the point where we ought to carefully weigh what AMERICA can do, if anything, to encourage democracy in Iraq.

The comparison, once again, is not to the facts of the occupation, but to whether we can employ the same term (liberation) in each case. My only point was that he were prepared to apply it to the Axis powers, it could just as well be used of Iraq.
