No it is not. The language was unambiguous. There is a difference between a clear mistake and ambiguity. To confuse those two issues is to severely restrict the understanding of communication.

If I say 2 plus 2 equals 6 I am wrong. If I say "Iran was under the terrible rule of Saddam" and I meant to say "Iraq" but used the wrong word, I have misspoken. The gentleman who talked about the democracy in Iraq was pretty clearly in the 2 plus 2 equals 6 category. We could discuss how we might classify his statement if you would like. I think I may even have an article on a topic that would relate to this issue- if you are interested.
