Ted, Gibson's Passion was somewhat less that an honest portrayal of JC's last days but you loved it.

Less than honest? Other than a few creative liberties, "Passion" was a very literal portrayal of Jesus' crucifixion based on the four Gospels. The question isn't whether Mel or the movie is being honest or not, the question is whether the Gospels are.

Speaking of which, I don't think "Passion" would have done as well had Mel used members of the so-called "Jesus Seminar" to write the script. ;-)
