JF, But they were never that smart, we just make them appear so.

Well said. We have a habit of turning arch-villians into criminal masterminds. Remember how "smart" the D.C. snipers were supposed to be, just before they turned out to be a couple of idiotic losers?

Sometimes I wonder if the "anti-Bush" movement also does the same thing to the Bush administration. Obviously no one in that movement thinks Bush is a genius, but hey, what about Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rove, and the other so-called "masterminds" behind the "vast right-wing conspiracy"?

As for me personally, I think Shakespeare said it best, "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players." It's almost uncanny.

With all that went on in Iraq today (yesterday now?), and with six days left to the "turn over", you have to wonder if things will escalate.

I frankly think the resistance/terrorists are making a strategic mistake. They should do this sh-t after the turn over. But they were never that smart, we just make them appear so.

Trust me, they will........I don't think this escalation stops on 30 June.

I couldn't believe the terrorists were able to raise a flag over one gov't building.

Apparently, the Iraqi soldiers/police are so worried, they change into civilian clothes when they go home.......and some now want to wear civilian clothes while on duty. They also keep driving at a rapid clip to keep from getting shot.

And then I heard the most bizarre comment........apparently Wolfie apologized today for saying earlier this week that western journalists were writing all their stories from Bagdad. Apparently, his comments were untrue/unfair and caused a huge uproar.
