"If you are going to object to government infringement of our liberties be honest enough to admit that both parties and practically all politicians have taken our freedom at every opportunity and understand that if you don't object to every attack on freedom, whether by the left or the right, you will lose your freedom."

I'm living in Canada. From my prospective, your country STINKS, right left and center. Sorry for the short blunt statement but I am in the middle of playing a gory bloody video game with my kids so they will grow up to be violent like you (nothing personal) violent MORONS in the USA and be able to volunteer to kill, kill and sadistically torture and murder. Gotta train em up right eh?

Has anyone wondered why Bush always speaks to military audiences and NEVER at centers of higher learning like Universities? Hey, if he spoke at a high school the kids would rip him apart so he only speaks to BRAIN DEAD USELESS PATHETIC LOSERS (soldiers) who occupy a spot on this earth only by the extreme patience of their Creator.

Little Joe,

<<Let's face it the liberals don't care about the loss of freedom. They just object to someone else taking it. They are always ready to restrict our freedoms for their version of the good, the true and the beautiful.>>

Your comment is indicative of why Kerry and the Democrats have not been able to put distance between their positions and Bush's. The best they can manage is, "take power away from Bush and give it to us." They just can't bring themselves to the point of supporting freedom and individual rights.

We are obviously going to go through an election where both parties are missing the message...a rejection of Bush and the Neocons does not translate into support for Kerry and the Liberal brand of infringement on personal rights. We are not interested in exchanging one slavemaster for another.

Unfortunately, the Liberals have no alternative to offer.

Dave

OT - for Little Joe
The attack on our freedoms does come from both parties and it is very scary to me that Kerry and Bush belonged to the same secrete organization when they went to the same Univ. together. The thing is though that the democrates have pretty much always stood for that while the republicans used to stand for a conservative agenda. No longer!!

The difference as I see it is that conservatives have brought religion into the equation and to me that is very scary. If you think (or even pretend to think) that you are getting orders from a higher level - God - then you are no longer bound by reason. God made me do it. Isn't that why we are at war in Iraq?
