This is the most optimistic I have been about space in years. Really exciting.

My understanding is that Scaled will be taking the telemetry from the flights of SpaceShipOne to work out the numbers for an ongoing, space tourism, program. I've read talk about designs for 6-12 passenger "SpaceShipTwos". It's a beginning.

The point about reaching LEO is right on. Once a private craft can get men and cargo to LEO, the whole game is wide open. Anything is possible.
