Hello KLP,

It's sad to be so unhappy, so go ahead, make the change and find your better place. It's out there someplace.

Come on now, KLP. Play nice. :o)

I know what you are saying- it's been said so many times- your statement is a variant on the "America, love it or leave it"- which of course is said to anyone who sees a problem with anything in America (and is exclusively said to people of the left. I don't know why that is, but I've never seen anyone from the left say it to someone of the right, even though people of the right also complain about America - it's too liberal, there are too many social programs, yada yada yada.)

I think looking at one's country critically, and assessing where it is deficient, is critical. No matter where I live I will do that. But you are correct that for now we are free to leave (if the draft passes, and should my children be drafted, they will not have that freedom). I am looking. I suspect I will find.
