Yaacov. I believe that Pres. Bush would like nothing better than to get the job done in Iraq once and for all. His problem is trying to be a diplomat. Diplomats were what caused the Viet Nam war to become a fiasco by not allowing the military leaders to do the job they were trained for. Many of the American people, and those in the rest of the world, are namby pamby about war, and don't seem to realize the object of going to war in the first place. The only acceptable outcome of going to war is absolute conquest. All of a sudden the world, including many Americans, are all up in arms about the treatment of prisoners that did their best to kill our soldiers. Why can't they understand that such is one of the factors of war. War is kill the enemy before he kills you. If he is captured, he has no reason to expect to be molly coddled. Just look what those islamic terrorist are doing to civilians they have captured. Should we be bound by a different set of rules. I don't think so. It makes us look weak, and spurs the enemy to make even more attacks.

Another thorn in the side of Pres. Bush, is the impotent UN. If it had not been for American troops in WW2 there wouldn't even be a UN, but they set themselves up on pedestals, and try to tell us what we can, and cannot, do. That is ridiculous, IMO.

Bush should forget about re-election, and go hell bent for leather to wipe out every terrorist on the face of the earth, no matter what it took to do so. If that would happen, he would win in a land slide.

That might be a good idea, but can you imagine what Bush would be talking about if he did it? I'll bet you dollars to donuts he'd be spending most of his time fending off left wing charges of trampling on the first amendment.

What makes you think Bush doesn't want to get the job done? The longer it takes, the worse it is for him.

I don't criticize Mr. Bush for having gone to Iraq, I criticize Mr. Bush for pussy-footing with Iraqis and not having a policy on Iraq. For one thing all the journalists have to be sent away for a six months black out so the US troops can get the job done, but is getting the job done is what Bush is ingterested in?
