Unfortunately, so many of the posters think that their party candidate is just wonderful, or they are lying and trying to get one more vote. I respect their intelligence, so,,,(s) Message #668 from Oral Roberts at Jun 25, 2004 9:16 AM I have said for some time that we don't get the best because of the gauntlet they need to run to be elected. I mean if you weren't born and raised in a convent your every mistake of your life becomes front page news. The truly gifted and qualified are not going to subject themselves or their families to the election process. Thus we get professional politicians. Republican or Democrat, white pig or pink pig, they all feed at the same trough. We just get to decipher who is likely to do the least damage and vote for them.
