There is nothing in that file that supports a binding relatinship between Iraq and Sadaam that justified this war as the main focus on the war on terror. To bad they pulled the brunt of our military force out of Afghanistan. We should have taken out OBL in Tora Bora ourselves instead of relying on the Northern Alliance to do that while we were moving everything over to Iraq. And they should have spent the main part of the budget rebuilding Afghanistan into a democracy. You remember that place? Thats the muslim country that did welcome us with open hands.

The war in Iraq is for oil, defense and rebuilding contracts. marketed as a war on terror and keeping the American public onboard by making them think they are not patriotic by not supporting the war. The real war on terror is still out there to be fought.

Heard on the radio tonight that this document referred to in the NYT article is "highly credible..." TWT. What is further *interesting* is the NYT evidently has had it since April, and JUST NOW has decided to print it, AFTER headlines of a week or so ago with the *staff* of the 9-11 commission saying "no credible evidence"...etc but that they do have MUCH evidence of contacts between Al Qaeda and Iraq.

This document evidently shows the highest level of contact....Uday, Saddam's son.
