LJ, By bribed, I mean appointed by a candidate's daddy or his idol and taken on hunting trips at a special lodge and things of that sort. I've never heard of a Florida court ever doing anything right, so I suspect their decision was odd. However, we still have a Constitution which says the decision should be made in Congress, not in the courts. Neither Dems nor Repubs wanted to uphold the Constitution.

Of course, Bush wouldn't say he was repudiating the election. He would get AssCrotch busy with more of his phantom terror threats (I guess Tom Ridge hasn't been willing to play ball with the law on this scam) or there would be an incident and he would declare martial law for our safety. We'll honor the election as soon as the emergency is over. Sort of like the temporary suspension of rights called the Patriot Act, but much, much more sinister. Of course, one damned emergency leads to another.
