Alaska Prince William Sound 1972 in a kayak surrounded by a pod of orcas. One zipped within two feet of my little kayak. If it had wanted to nudge me, I would have been thrown into the icy water a mile out to sea amongst perhaps 100 killer whales who might have used me as a human frisbee. Fortunately, orcas were not in the killer mood that day.

BTW: Years later, Bush-Cheney's friends at Exxon were responsible for polluting that gorgeous sound. It made a life-long environmentalist out of me, especiallly after I saw how Exxon was guilty of negligence, did not really care about the environment and lied, lied, lied about it.
Never forget the Exxon Valdez or the dangers of deregulating the oil and polluting chemicals business.
