There isn't much traffic on the Corps of Discovery topic, but I added a couple of items just now. Message 20255426 It's interesting that none of the current leaders of the three nations whose flags flew over St. Louis in one day two hundred years ago could make it to the commemorative ceremony last month. They were preoccupied with current foreign affairs. Spain was busy getting out of Iraq and France was, well, just busy. The United States had its hands full. I do hope President Bush will make it his business to commemorate this momentous event of yesteryear.
