you are preaching to the hopeless

Job 5:16
So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth.

Job 8:13
Such is the destiny of all who forget God; so perishes the hope of the godless.

Job 13:15
Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him...

Psalm 31:24
Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD .

Proverbs 26:12
Do you see a man wise in his own eyes?
There is more hope for a fool than for him.

Lamentations 3:25
The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;

Romans 12:12
Be joyful in hope...

2 Corinthians 3:12
Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.

Agreed. But all people go through phases and transformations. I would like them to remember at that time that they are good. I would like them to remember that they have no "evil" to overcome. They only need to shave, dress in clean clothes, and do something good for themselves and for another.

People must stop evaluating their happiness via comparison with arbitrary mystical standards. The world is in front of us. We have many hours every night to dream. For the waking hours there is the grand adventure of LIVING!

If this world is so horrible for people that they prefer one they have imagined...then we better nail the whores who are running this world into the ground.

Gee...that is a good quote from Burton.

There is an old saying--I forget who said it--that 6 feet of earth makes all men equal. But that is small comfort to those who value life.
