That's what a true American hero and genius, Rumsfield, is creating. And he has to wade through a forest of fired and failed GENERALS to do it.

George Marshall handled it (and THEM) brilliantly in his era. Don Rumsfield is fighting the new version of that ancient war-brilliantly...

No disrespect to the generals, but it probably is true that we have too many for the size of force that we have.

I personally think we need a bigger force, thereby necessitating the need for the generals, but I'm just a layman with an opinion.

I disagree with you on Rumsfeld. He's effective in his role, and I'm sure that rubs a lot of folks the wrong way.

I think Clinton is the one who started downsizing the military, not Rumsfeld.
