The Aztec/Mayans had also their Messiah prophecy which was to be the return of Quetzalcoatl -- an olive-skinned man with a white beard and followers in red.... What the Aztec & Mayan got in reality was a spaniard named Cortez, who did have olive skin and a beard and followers in red ...but instead of liberation he brought with him syphilis , smallpox and slavery ....and the point of a steel sword. What can you say but God is Great ...so much for "prophecy". <g>
