Well. As I said, I really don't know the law here. But I still find it hard to believe that the military may do as it wishes, else there would be no need for a contract at all. It must be built into the contract that the military, under certain circumstances, has the right to automatically extend the duty of service people.

I am not interested in looking into this just yet. But if no one rescues me on this, I likely will. I have heard others voicing your opinion and simply dismissed it as yet more leftist lies. But the fact that no one has countered it leaves me just a wee bit of a mind that you may be right. But mostly I think you are just being a typical lying leftist.

We'll see.
