Big Media jumping on the Cheney-mouth story with such delight again shows how little they understand anyone beyond theirown little clique. They actually think it makes him look like a hypocrite.

That is to say, Cheney's little bit of off-color verbiage will win him and Bush more votes in the hinter-land than are likely to be lost to the Blue Noses.

"The ticket will remain intact. After all, too many bumper stickers have been printed. Why go to the expense of printing different ones now? "

Answer Because no one puts them on their cars.
Of course McCain has baggage. And of course the DMA right would be disturbed by such a change. But fuck em, who will they vote for? Their is no nader on the right sucking up votes. And after all andrew, the reelection of the president may be the single most important thing we do in our lifetimes, and if mccain helps so be it. Plus,
a John McCain presidency in 2008 will most certainly be a continuation of a tough fp even if it is less dma conservative on some domestic issues. Hell thats the way the country is too. Mike
