It is a typical far rightwing propaganda technique to morph war heros like Max Cleland, John McCain and John Kerry with Saddam, Osama, communists, Jane Fonda, whomever they want to demonize the target with. I suppose on the far left, they use Hitler against Bush too but not very often. The rightwing attacks on our war hero candidates especially needs to stop. They have already earned the right to be respected, particularly by the rightwing who likes to try to claim the US military as their own.
