If we are going back into the '80s and '90s for connections, what about the U.S. connections with OBL(Taliban vs. Russia) and Saddam(Iraq vs. Iran)? If those connections and alliances are valid, does that mean we should attack ourselves as a dangerous contributor to terrorism? It would be logical. Myron

Funny, here's a clip from a review of the same book on Amazon <<Jon Stewart proved this in a single, five minute interview. Hayes book collapses under even the slightest criticism. I'm amazed at the stupidity of the people praising this book. Anyone who still believes in the "OMG Liberal Media" theory should be dragged out into the street and beaten>> There still isn't any hard indisputable evidence of the link...if there was this admin. would have pushed it all over the UNSC in Feb. 2003. Instead Powell showed photos of so called "bomb factories" linked to Ansar Al Islam which were based in the Kurdish controlled north......it turned out the photos were months old and the so called sites were long deserted. Embarassing at best. No connection to Saddam can be positively proven. Certainly no evidence conclusive enough to use it as a justification for invasion! They've also had over a year in control of the damn country and uncovered nothing hard....what does that tell you? These guys sold the reasons for invasion being 1) Saddam's massive arsenal of WMDs. 2) Saddam's links to Al Qaeda. 3) Saddam's threat to our national security. They're batting 0 for 3 and it's the bottom of the eighth......will they produce a hit before the end of the game?!?!?!?!? It's about "Bin Laden" stupid....... MON.
