Wonder how many in the media understand that fine line...between Christian conservatives, and conservative Christians? And Christian liberals and liberal Christians....My guess is not many, from viewing their writing.

The other three labels are common but I don't imagine you will find "Christian liberals" mentioned in the media. There is no apparent Christian-liberal movement. It is characteristic of liberal Christians to not call political attention to their religiosity. The Christian conservatives have the religious-movement space all to themselves. Their counter is the secularists, a movement that includes lots of liberal Christians, a few conservative Christians, and assorted non-Christians.
