Me? When Kennedy was shot I was working ut a surveying problem in the lab. The fellow who told me was the kind of guy who would come in and say, "Hey, I hear your mother just died."

Of course, I didn't believe him, and it was difficult to comprehend until I actually saw the headlines in red type.

The assassination that bothered me the most was Martin Luther King, not necessarily because of who he was, but because of what our country seemed to be becoming after several of these assassinations. It was truly disheartening back then for me, a young man barely out of college and ready to take on life.
